Adriana Urgelles was born in Caracas, Venezuela. In 1997 she concluded her studies at the Central University of Venezuela with a Bachelor's of Art Degree in Translation in French and Italian. At the beginning of 1998, she moved to the United States where she started her formal studies of the English language. She attended the English Language Institute at Texas A&M University where she focused on expanding her language knowledge and immersing in the culture. In 1999, she launched her successful career as a Spanish freelance translator. After moving to Austin, Texas, in the year 2000, she started working as an in-house Spanish translator for the American Cancer Society, where she translated cancer related information, helped in the development of educational materials, and co-wrote the Spanish Translation Guide for the organization. In 2001, Adriana decided to join forces with Addy Miró to form Language & Content Services. In the year 2002, she received her certification from English into Spanish from the American Translators Association solidifying her position as a regarded translator in the field. Adriana is also an active member of the Austin Area Translators and Interpreters Association.

Addy Miró was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Advertising in 1993 from the University of Puerto Rico, she began her career as a successful copywriter, content developer, translator, and project manager for numerous creative studios. Her career as a successful Spanish translator cemented during her years as an in-house translator for the American Cancer Society. In 2001, she decided to transfer her customer service experience and translation knowledge into an independent venture, Language & Content Services. She managed all the administrative areas of the agency, translated, edited, proofread, and created content. In 2003, Addy expanded her education by attending law school at St. Mary’s University School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from. In 2006 she was licensed as a Texas practicing attorney by the Texas State Bar. Since the year 2007 to present, Addy practices family and criminal law for the Segura Law Firm in Austin, Texas. She has brilliantly mastered the difficult art of balancing two successful careers in two very complementing fields. Her legal knowledge is definitely an invaluable asset for Language & Content Services’ clients.
